Chicken Souvlaki Wraps

Juicy grilled chicken, zesty tzatziki, fresh veggies, and tangy feta wrapped in warm pita—this easy Chicken Souvlaki recipe brings the bold, fresh flavors of the Mediterranean to your table in minutes!
Ingredients:
For the Chicken Souvlaki:
500 g chicken breast or thighs cut into bite-sized pieces
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp dried oregano
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
For the Tzatziki Sauce:
1 cup 250g Greek yogurt
1/2 cucumber grated and excess water squeezed out
1 clove garlic minced
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp mint chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
For the Wrap
4 large pita breads or flatbreads
1/2 cup 50g shredded lettuce
1 tomato sliced
1/2 cucumber sliced
Feta cheese crumbled
Fresh parsley or mint leaves for garnish
Method:
In a large bowl, combine the chicken with dried oregano, paprika, salt, and olive oil, tossing until evenly coated.
Preheat the grill pan over medium-high heat. Grill the chicken for 4-5 minutes per side, or until fully cooked and slightly charred. Remove from the grill and let the chicken rest for a few minutes
In a small bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, and mint. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Warm the pita bread on the grill for 1-2 minutes until soft and pliable. Spread a generous layer of tzatziki sauce on each pita. Top with shredded lettuce, tomato, cucumber and grilled chicken. Sprinkle with crumbled feta, if desired, and garnish with fresh parsley or mint.
